Erica Lang has 20 years of experience in the Education and Training Industry; in her early years, she started as an apprentice for four years and gained six years in the Hospitality Industry. She was very proud and honoured to have won apprentice chef year.

As an apprentice, she was committed to contributing to her local community. As part of a committee, she was honoured to be awarded Charity Queen at 1988 Mt Isa Rodeo (QLD); she managed to raise a large fund for the Royal Flying Doctors.

Ms Lang commenced her time in the Education and Training sector by returning to Vocational Education to change her career pathway, from being a Chef for ten years to creating a new path in the Education and Training sector.

Ms Lang held a project manager position with Queensland Government, a manager’s position with

Group Training Organisation (GTO) and Registered Training Organisation (RTO). She was part of a team managing 600 School Base trainees in training and employment.

One of her best challenges is managing offshore Businesses in training in India and Singapore. Showing leadership to over 30 staff has taken her career to another level Ms Lang holds a formal qualification in Certificate III in Cookery, Certificate IV in Project Management, a Diploma of Project Management and a Diploma of Vocational Education and Training Compliance Management.
